Trust in the Lord

“Trust in the Lord” is based on Proverbs 3:8, which says: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine our understanding in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.” This chorus aids in the memorization of Scripture. The principle that God leads and we must trust Him is the main theme. The repetition of melody and rhythm allow the piece to be easy to remember, learn, and sing along. Written for Sunday school use, the accompaniment compliments the melody but can also be removed to sing a capella.
